Sonatina was composed for a composition competition for flute and piano which I did not win (certainly the result of some sort of clerical error).  For whatever reason, the piece ended up reflecting an older style, perhaps early to mid-20th Century, influenced by the flute and piano works of Martinu, Dutilleux, and Burton.
